Academic Program

Academic Information

The academic session begins in mid-April (the first week of Baisakh), and is completed by the second week of March of the following year (the first week of Chaitra). The academic session is divided into three terms, and each term ends with the conduct of the terminal examination. Unit tests account for 20% percent and the terminal examinations for 80 % of the marks. The final result is prepared on the basis of average marks obtained throughout the three terms. Students, who fail for two consecutive years in the same class, are asked to leave the school and a transfer certificate (TC) is issued.
Information about examination schedules, important activities/events and holidays are clearly mentioned in the school calendar. Parents are required to follow the schedule strictly. They will also be notified in writing if any changes are made in the schedule due to any circumstances.

Welcome Sarlahi Ambition Academy , an educational institution bestowed with a congenial atmosphere located at the heart of the budding Hariwan Municipality in Sarlahi district along the Mahendra Highway.

It made its humble beginning in the year 2049 B.S. No private schools existed in the region then. There was a dire need and it mattered most for a genuine school for aspirants to offer them comprehensive and satisfactory education to fulfill their potential and dreams. So, our mission began in that fateful year with a team of like-minded teachers to set a platform for those students to receive reliable and practical education to fulfill their aspirations and goals in life. Today there are more than a thousand students attending our school. We offer our pupils comprehensive education from Nursery to Grade 10.
The development of the school over the past few years have been significant. It is characterized by excellent academic result and well-equipped infrastructure with modern equipments to make learning experience much more fun and practical. Education here is not only programmed to meet academic quest such as acquisition of knowledge and the attainment of high grades alone but utmost priority is given to developing critical thinking power and abilities in our students through an array of activities such as co-curricular and problem-solving abilities activities which we consider fundamental to the holistic development of our students. We emphasize on value based education which enables students to develop skills and aptitudes and condition the ermines to be tolerant, self-motivating and be capable to discover their world story and opportunities at large worldwide.
Our teachers are well-trained and competent who endeavor to inspire and equip the students to meet the growing challenges of this global arena. We believe every student is unique with individual gift of talent which needs just a spark to unfold it and teachers are those who are ordained to trigger that spark. Our teachers endeavor to discover, develop and draw the hidden talents in our students by offering them diverse, innovative and dynamic learning experiences through an array of activities within and outside the classroom. They monitor and facilitate them, encourage and empower them to overcome their shortcomings and appreciate their accomplishments. The goodwill and understanding between the teachers and the taught make the school a home away from home, the most ideal destination for parents to educate their children. Many have played an integral part in the growth and development of this institution over the past twenty five years. I believe that our team of teachers and cluster of students are among the very best. You are requested to visit our school and find out the truth for yourself.
